The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) will stretch 1,443 kilometres to Tanzania’s Tanga port, while total capital deployment across upstream extraction and midstream transport now exceeds $15 billion.

企业该做什么

First, register with Uganda’s Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) secretariat and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development as a pre-qualified service provider for revenue assurance. Second, establish a joint venture with a Ugandan-owned firm to satisfy domestic preference requirements under the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act. Third, submit technical and financial proposals before the end of October 2026, because the government is actively onboarding audit and compliance vendors ahead of first commercial production.
