The Canadian government will assist 200 Mozambican SMEs through the TRISEG initiative. Maputo is coordinating with Ottawa to identify eligible enterprises with resilient, inclusive, and sustainable business models. A joint technical committee will set sector priorities and disbursement rules.

谁能申请

Eligible firms must be privately owned SMEs registered under Mozambican commercial law with clean tax and social-security records. State-owned enterprises, informal traders, and extractive-sector operators are excluded. Priority will go to agribusiness, renewable energy, and digital-service providers that can demonstrate existing or prospective commercial links with Canadian entities.

TRISEG assistance will combine trade finance, supply-chain brokerage, and technical capacity-building grants. Each of the 200 selected enterprises must pass financial and legal due diligence before receiving any liquidity. The exact per-firm ceiling, repayment structure, and local-currency hedging terms remain under bilateral negotiation and will be published in the forthcoming implementation decree.

- Canadian vendors: Apply to Global Affairs Canada to become an approved brokerage partner and gain direct access to the 200 vetted SMEs.

First, verify that your Mozambican unit is registered as a private SME and holds a valid tax-compliance certificate; state-owned and informal operators are barred. Second, secure a letter of intent or purchase order from a Canadian counterpart, because TRISEG rewards proven cross-border commercial linkages. Third, submit the full dossier to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce without delay once the window opens, because the hard cap of 200 beneficiaries means late applicants will be turned away once the quota fills.
